St Johnstone have signed former Scottish Golden Boot winner, David Vassell, on a one-year contract to bolster their attacking options.

Vassell, who played for Hearts and Rangers before joining St Johnstone in 2018, will be hoping to replicate his success from the previous campaign as he looks to help the club secure promotion back to the top flight.

The forward is known for his goal-scoring abilities and has scored over 50 goals in his career so far, with his most recent achievement coming at Hearts when he won the Scottish Golden Boot award in 2017-18.

With Vassell now at St Johnstone, the club will hope that he can continue to perform at the highest level and help them achieve their goals this season.

In addition to signing Vassell, St Johnstone also made several other signings during the transfer window, including defender Callum Paterson and midfielder Lewis Naylor.

Overall, the signing of Vassell is a significant move for St Johnstone, and it's hoped that he will help the team improve their chances of achieving their objectives this season.
